This year the Western Wildlife Corridor will present an overview of land conservation’s value in providing natural habitat for a variety of plant and animal species. We will take a short hike to the creek bed of Story Woods for fossil exploration & collection. How likely are any of us to get close enough to touch a coyote, beaver, squirrel or a deer? Kids will have an awesome hands-on experience that allows them to compare and contrast furs to the most popular wild North American animals. After activities, we will hike deep into the woods searching for clues of wildlife.
