Ever wonder what yarn looks like before it becomes yarn? Visit the Weavers Guild’s Fiber Arts Center and find out all there is to know about sheep, wool, carding, spinning, dyeing and weaving while following the action from sheep to finished project. Get up close and personal with sheep from Gorman Farm. Observe demonstrations of carding, spinning, dyeing, various weaving formats, knitting and crochet. Discover a world of differences in sheep via DVD, pictures and samples. And before you leave, weave some fun into a community tapestry. All ages welcome.
