Participants will tour a public trail at Big Bone Lick State Park, the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology, with paleontologists, archeologists and historians from Cincinnati Museum Center and the Friends of Big Bone. Interpretive commentary on the Ice Age, fossil mammals, Native Americans, as well as the geology and native vegetation of the area, will be provided. Bring your fossils and artifacts to be identified by our staff. Tours will begin at the Discovery Trail head between the Visitor Center and Nature Center every hour.
